Der Opel Blitz war der Hauptlastwagen der deutschen Streitkräfte im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Es wurde ausgiebig an allen Fronten in großer Zahl eingesetzt und gilt als „arbeitendes Maultier" der Wehrmacht. Aufgrund seines robusten Rahmens, des robusten Systems aus starren Achsen mit Blattfedern und den Doppelrädern auf der Rückseite konnte der Opel Blitz eine Nutzlast von über 3 Tonnen tragen. Der 3600 ccm. Motor war leicht zu warten und leistete 75 PS.
