The "bocage" created a lot of constraints to the armored vehicles and to the infantry movements and activities. The few reinforcements were employed by Germans in various counterattacks but after some days of fighting the defensive lines collapsed under the pressure of Allied troops. The Operation Cobra completed successfully what began on the Normandy Beaches during the D-Day and was the starting point for the liberation of Paris.

Der Opel Blitz war der Hauptlastwagen der deutschen Streitkräfte im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Es wurde ausgiebig an allen Fronten in großer Zahl eingesetzt und gilt als „arbeitendes Maultier" der Wehrmacht. Aufgrund seines robusten Rahmens, des robusten Systems aus starren Achsen mit Blattfedern und den Doppelrädern auf der Rückseite konnte der Opel Blitz eine Nutzlast von über 3 Tonnen tragen. Der 3600 ccm. Motor war leicht zu warten und leistete 75 PS. Vor allem aufgrund seiner großen Flexibilität war es die Entwicklungsplattform für mehrere Spezialmodelle und -versionen wie das Kfz. 385 „Tankwagen", der als Hauptnachfüllwagen der Luftwaffe eingesetzt wurde. Die Junkers Ju 87 Stuka war ein zweisitziges Tauchbomber- / Bodenangriffsflugzeug. Es flog zum ersten Mal im Jahr 1935 und gab sein Kampfdebüt im Jahr 1936 als Teil der Condor Legion während des spanischen Bürgerkriegs. Das Flugzeug war leicht an den umgekehrten Möwenflügeln und dem festen Fahrwerk zu erkennen. 1:72 Sd.Kfz. 251/1 "Stuka Zu Fuss" Größe des Modells: 8,1 cm Der Schützenpanzerwagen Sd.Kfz.251 war ein Halbkettenfahrzeug, das im Zweiten Weltkriegs von der Wehrmacht in großem Umfang eingesetzt wurde. Dank seines leistungsstarken Maybach Sechszylindermotors war der Panzer in der Lage, auch auf schwierigem Gelände eine Geschwindigkeit von 55 km/h zu erreichen. Er kam hauptsächlich als Infanterie-Kampffahrzeug zum Einsatz; während des Kriegs wurden allerdings zahlreiche Versionen produziert, die immer spezifischeren Einsatzanforderungen gerecht werden sollten. Auf dem Sd.Kfz.251 wurde die Raketenwerfer version Wurfrahmen umgesetzt. Sie war mit 6 Packkisten, 3 auf jeder Seite, ausgestattet, die dazu bestimmt waren, Raketen verschiedener Größen abzufeuern und erhielt den Spitznamen „Stuka zu Fuss".
