Multi-material capability Our BMG extruder feeds all material with high reliability, from slippery nylons and soft TPU/TPE filaments to highly rigid and sometimes brittle carbon-filled high-strength materials. The extruder is designed for 1.75 mm filaments, but has been tested to ensure performance of filament from 1.5mm up to 2.0mm allowing for high reliability regardless of the tolerance of the filament used. The filament path is fully guided throughout the extruder body and the housing maintains tight tolerances to the drive gears mitigating the chances of Filament Misfeed when the hotend experiences increased backpressure or highly flexible filaments are used. Adjustable tension The thumbscrew tensioner allows the user to fine-tune the pressure exerted by the drive gears onto the filament. This gives you the power to adjust according to your preferences and to optimize for the type of material you are using. Quick-Release To be able to do material changes in a snap, simply activate the Quick-Release lever to release the tension and pull the material to be changed out of the extruder, keep it activated and insert the new material. Multi-application design This extruder can be used in a Bowden or direct setups and gives you the flexibility to choose what works best for your application. In addition it features an integrated hotend retention method compatible with the E3D-V6 hotends or others using the GrooveMount standard. Mounting your hotend is simple, secure, and wobble free by means of just two bolts. Flexible mounting options We have designed a standard mounting bracket, both in CNC and as a 3D printable part that you can download from our stl-archive for free. Bondtech Extruder For Prusa i3 MK3S This kit contains the necessary parts to convert your current extruder to our own popular design based upon our BMG (Bondtech Mini Geared) extruder with 3:1 gearing ratio for better precision and resolution together with optimized geometry for the heatsink cooling and professional SLS 3D printed housing. Lightweight BMG (Bondtech Mini Geared) With this version we also lower the moving weight to reduce ghosting and vibrations or to allow increasing the printing speed. 15% of weight saving was achieved. Product Main Features This extruder upgrade kit is for the Prusa i3 MK3S, or other Prusa i3 models upgraded to MK3S. These are its main features: - Adapted to fit Prusa’s new filament sensor; - Includes one Bondtech’s BMG extruder with 3:1 gearing ratio; - Optimized geometry for heat-sink cooling; - Less moving weight to reduce vibration and ghosting; - Professional SLS 3D printed housing. This extruder upgrade kit for the Raise3D N1/N2/N2+ printer will replace the original feeder placed on the printhead. It fit´s both dual and single nozzle printers. It allows for a more reliable printing with all sorts of filaments, both stiff and flexibles and the DualDrive system ensures that the extruder never looses grip of the filament so grinding, slipping is a thing of the past. Original extruder setup on Raise3D is 532g for single setup, this new upgrade is 252g with the included motor and it allows for faster printing without surface issues due to vibration during accelerations/deaccelerations. The kit comes with it own lightweight pancake motor. The extruder is equipped with a push-fit connector for 4 mm ptfe tube that will let you connect the existing guide tube to the extruder. Tube is not included. Installs in about half an hour with standard tools available. This upgrade fits both the Revision 1 (casted) and Revision 2(cnc-milled) version of the printhead.
