1:35 Dt. Pzkpfw.IV F1/F2/G m. DAK Fig. Der Panzer IV wurde in verschiedenen Ausführungen den gesamten Zweiten Weltkrieg hindurch von der Wehrmacht eingesetzt. Er bildete an allen Fronten das „Rückgrat" der Panzerwaffe. Die Produktion des Panzers IV Ausf. F. stellte eine entscheidende Wende in der Entwicklung des Panzers dar. Neben der verstärkten Panzerung und einem verbesserten Turm wurde zuerst in der Ausführung F1 die traditionelle 75-mm-Kanone KwK 37 mit kurzem Rohr und schließlich in der Ausführung F2 die besonders leistungsfähige 75-mm-Kanone mit langem Rohr KwK 40 eingesetzt. Diese zeichnete sich durch eine hohe Anfangsgeschwindigkeit der Geschosse und eine verbesserte Durchschlagskraft aus. Die Kanonen mit kurzem Rohr schafften es nämlich nicht mehr, die immer widerstandsfähigeren Panzerungen der feindlichen Panzer, wie beispielweise des sowjetischen T-34, zu durchdringen. Die Einführung der Kanone mit langem Rohr stellte daher eine erhebliche Verbesserung der Kampfkraft dar und machte den Panzer IV wieder zu einer „tödlichen" Waffe auf dem Schlachtfeld. Die Ausführung F2 wurde, wenn auch in zu geringer Zahl, vor allem von der 15. und 21. Panzerdivision an der nordafrikanischen Front eingesetzt.

1:35 Semovente M42 da 75/18 mm Größe des Modells: 14 cm In den Jahren vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg drückte die Königliche Armee den Bedarf an mechanisierten Artillerieeinheiten aus, die in der Lage sein sollten, Infanterie- und Panzerdivisionen zu unterstützen. Auf dem Rumpf des mittleren Panzers "M" wurde der selbstfahrende 75/18 entwickelt, der sich während des Kriegs als das von den Alliierten am meisten gefürchtete italienische Panzerfahrzeug erwies. Tatsächlich erwies er sich dank der in der Kasematte installierten 75 mm-Haubitze als eine wirksame Panzerabwehrwaffe, die selbst die stärksten und schwer gepanzerten britischen und amerikanischen Panzer vernichten konnte. Zusätzlich zu seiner guten Schussleistung, die weit über der Panzer M-13 und M-14 lag, wurde der "Selbstfahrende" wegen seines niedrigen Profils, das seine Erkennung erschwerte, und wegen seiner insgesamt guten Fahrleistung geschätzt. Er wurde von der Königlichen Armee in Afrika und auf italienischem Gebiet und später zur Bestätigung seiner guten Merkmale nach dem 8. September 1943 von einigen Einheiten der Wehrmacht eingesetzt.
